The shooting script was created as it is a necessary tool during production. It consists the number of shots and what type, a description/dialogue as well as diegetic and non-diegetic sound.We followed the script while filming however discovered there were shots we did not consider, we used the shooting script as a guide to produce an effective trailer.

Planning: Location Reece

A location recce is a pre-filming visit to several potential locations that may be used in your film. These locations are visited to work out  suitability for shooting, these include any potential issues that may arise and have to be considered if the location was chosen e.g. lighting or sound issues. Before filming we visited conventional horror locations such as, forests,  alleyways and suburbs we chose it as we could use two conventional horror locations. We did understand that background noise may be an issue as we can not control the location -belonging to the public. However, this could be resolved in the recording studio. We decided to go with filming in a neighbour as that is a convention of horror films and it was easy to access.
